I’m a writer/creative director engaged in a constant right brain-left brain battle. I careen freely between rational, analytical thinking and whimsical, irreverent, just-this-side-of-ridiculous explorations.
Make it smart and strategic. But make it imaginative and disruptive. Get under people’s skin. Provoke a laugh, a tear or the urge to punch a wall. The sweet spot between logic and creativity is the place I always strive to get to.
Over my 30+ years in advertising I’ve been lucky to partner with some super-talented art directors. As a result, my work has been recognized by The One Show, Communication Arts, Archive, Graphis, Adweek, Print, ADDYs and more. I’ve also been part of three Milwaukee Best of Show winners.
No matter the medium or the marketplace, nothing has changed my mind about the old adage, “good work works better.”
